Tred is made safe by security measures such as:
- confirming your identity when you sign-up
- requiring biometric security checks to access the app or view/change your data and passcodes
- PIN numbers
- strong customer authentication for specific transactions
Fraudsters can be very clever. They may contact you pretending to be us, another bank, HMRC or even the police in order to get you to disclose your card or account details. They can potentially contact you by phone, email or text and make it sound urgent to get you to act without thinking.
Tred will never ask you to send or tell us your PIN number, card number, authorisation codes or other secure data.
